Syria has Iraq's WMDs and is sharing with Al Queda. If one strikes the US or US troops, then it is time to retaliate with WMDs of our own!

In the last 3 weeks we've had the following three stories:
The Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, a guy named Ya'alon said that the WMDs would be found in Iraq, though not in the quantities the CIA claimed.
Iran said that the uprisings in Fallujah were "concocted" to "cover up" the importation of WMDs that the U.S. would "discover." This tells me the Iranians know we must be pretty close to finding something, for them to make up such a yarn.
Now this chem bomb in Jordan. (Not to mention that Libya ended up with far more chem/bio weapons than ANYONE thought they had.) Hmmmm.

That pop you will hear will be the entire "Bush lied!" balloon. It will, of course, be stoutly denied.

We KNOW Saddam had WMD.
The only question is where they are now.

I don't know if you heard about this, because it has not been widely reported
Syria is a transit point for weapons of mass destruction.Been reported on FR since before the war started.

Something I don't understand about the whole "Bush Lied" train of thought-- is that to believe that you have to believe that Bush was crafty enough to devise this intricate plan, and yet never bother to finish the plan by planting some chemical artillery shells in Iraq.
If he knowingly lied about the Intel, all he had to do was plant them.
That they weren't planted is tantamount to proof that everyone believed that they'd be found there.
I still think that some stockpiles will eventually be found, either in iraq or syria. Saddam was nuts, but not that nuts. He wouldn't have played his hand so badly if he really had nothing.

Look for some of the equipment that Lybia turned over to the U.S. to have originated in Iraq, Look for the Chem/Bio's to turn up in Syria

What a load of crap. I'll go out on a limb and guarantee that they aren't any WMDs. Put me down with Mel Gibson in his interview with Diane Sawyer, "I think I'll hide next to the WMDs, that way no one will ever find me."
And aren't you the least bit suspicious about this "Syria" business? Are they setting the stage for our next little adventure in "nation building" and "spreading democracy around the world"? Give me a break. How about if we get the hell out of Serbia and Afghanistan and Iraq before we bring our enlightened despotism to any more backwaters.

A sea of glass with a great big hole in the middle ... kinda' like a shiny bagel. I hope it warms your heart to be associated with these kinds of sentiments. And I'm sure you can square this with the "just war" doctrine.
To: Bayou City
I've always believed the WMD had been there. There was plenty of time for Sadaam to get them out of the country, or hide them. He's always been sneaky and devious. Syria was the country I thought would be the obvious place to take them. Wonder if the press will give it any credence?

Something I don't understand about the whole "Bush Lied" train of thoughtWhat about the "Bush is an idiot who was played for a sucker by neo-cons who are now abandoning him like rats leaving a sinking ship" train of thought? Bush could have had a decent presidency but he shot himself in the foot by turning over his administration to the people who supported John McCain in the 2000 Republican primary.

This tells me the Iranians know we must be pretty close to finding something, for them to make up such a yarn. They didn't make up that particular yarn. The Left here in the good ol' USA made that one up, before we even invaded.
