The outlook for Thurday is continued warm and sunny with sandstorms moving in by mid morning. Sporadic small arms fire mixed with artillery and itermittent lowflying aricraft will be expected through the weekend.
Those outdoors should expect possible airborne pests ranging from 60 mm to 120 mm. These pests are frequently harmless, however those that land in close proximity have been known to cause skin rashes, severe puncture wounds, and contribute to involuntary bowel movements.
Travelers should expect to face mines, IED's, mortar and RPG attacks as well as focused ambushes. Ballistic armor is highly recommended. Travelers should also include plans for escorts in armored vehicles with pintle mounted crew served weapons and quick strike reaction forces available. Spare tires and jacks optional. Convoys should expect flurries of RPG and small arms fire directed mainly toward fuel and sustainance vehicles.
The evening forecasts include localized lightening and thunder associated with insurgent encroachment upon the perimeter. The advisory precautions include locking one's door and giving one's ass a good night kiss before going to bed.
Finally, don't forget to use sunscreen, a wide brimmed hat, and drink plenty of water!
Somehow the humor is this just doesn't communicate, does it? Ain's squat happening here, but I'm not in the capital city. Just another sandstorm.
Keep us posted ...did ya get the intel ?....Stay safe !
Heck, I laughed pretty good at that whole post. And I am in the capital city.
Gotta have a sense of humor here. If you don't, you just won't get through the rough spots.
Sandstorms haven't formed here yet...but the conditions are right for them.
