By Michael Kranish, Globe Staff | April 23, 2004 WASHINGTON -- Vietnam combat records posted on John F. Kerry's campaign website for the month of January 1969 as evidence of his service aboard swift boat No. 94 describe action that occurred before Kerry was skipper of that craft, according to the officer who said he commanded the boat at the time.

It's hard to believe Kerry's campaign people made a mistake.

Interesting that your link is to a freakin' ADVERTISEMENT.
The Ad informs me that my PC is infected with SPYWARE. Considering that I'm on a Mac, I doubt it.

Wow. I am a recent returning vet from war and admit I was and am still disappointed in the administrations handling of much of what is going on. I am a democrat who is probably more clearly defined as a blue dog democrat who does not believe in the fringe crap from the party. I am trying to stay a dem, but I am going to do everything I can to make sure that Kerry does not get elected. Clinton was a disgrace and never understood that job he had. Kerry is the most shameless person I have ever seen. Fake purple hearts, fake SUVs, fake war records, fake votes on legislation, and I dont mean this disparaging to any religion, but Kerry is a fake catholic. Some days I actually think the Dems wanted him to get the nomination just to lose, or maybe to implode before the convention so some other person can get the nomination without having to go through the primary process??

Hey give Kerry a break.
Through out my life I've gone by the expression:
"If you can't be good, atleast be consistent".
Kerry follow it too, remeber he threw away SOMEBODY elses medals. So now he uses SOMEBODY elses military action reports.
And maybe his PH wounds were really SOMEBODY elses and he just had an 'out of body' experience and felt their pain.
You have to admit he's CONSISTENT.

Welcome to freerepublic. Glad to read you see Kerry for what he is.

Maybe not the Dems, but a faction within the party?
Hillary to the rescue?
It looks more and more like that every day.

Did you read it? What it says is that there is an accusation that Kerry took someone else's record and inserted HIS name into it as if he was the one doing it!

Pathetic. He throws away someone elses medals (he will need his later), claims action that was on someone elses watch. He may well beat The Thing(clinton) for being sleezy.

How could this have happened? I know that's a dumb question, but what I want to know is did he do this on purpose?
