Well........I am sure that you could find a Harley for $16,500...but it depends on what you actually want. I own 2 Harley's and both were well over 20K each. Harley's are not for everybody...they are for those of us that love them, respect them, can afford them and ride the heck out of them.

I would love a 'Glide. In fact, it has crossed my mind many times to give up my '59 Triumph in favor of a Harley. I just can't bring myself to do it, though. I've never ridden a Harley, but I loved my VT100 Shadow. I can't see the Harley making up for the $9000 price difference. Like I said, though, I've never ridden a Harley.

I bought a 1998 Harley electra glide classic for $16500 in 2000 have just turned over 88 k miles on it bought it with 13 k on it wife and I going to NY next month she has a road king varrrooooom and yes loud pipes save lives along with an air horn.
