I especially like this myth and Jim Dunnigan's comment on it:
"The Iraqi Governing Council is despised by most Iraqis!" Any 25 Iraqi leaders would be despised by most of the population."
Can you think of any other countries where any 25 leaders would be despised by most of the population?

Here's a nasty thought (heheheheh!). Bremmer should pick something notable, like a newly recontructed school or a new sewage treatment plan. Then, get a bunch of Hollywood stuntmen and explosion effects and fake an "insurgent battle." When all of the Lefty cameramen and reporters show up to catch the action, have our own folks there ready to film *them*! Then Bremmer or some notable steps out onto a stage hidden in cammo, the cammo is pulled off it, and he announces the whole thing was a stunt, and now, here is something constructive we'd like to highlight!

You take the top 25 leaders in America - a list that would include Antonin Scalia, Ted Kennedy, Tom Daschle, and Dick Cheney - and everyone will despise someone on that list.
