WASHINGTON (CNN) -- With President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney set to appear in private before the 9/11 commission next week, Republicans are ramping up their criticism of the panel -- and Democratic member Jamie Gorelick in particular.
Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Alabama, called on Gorelick to resign, becoming the first senator to do so. He told CNN that such a move would help the commission salvage its credibility.

Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle, D-South Dakota, said earlier this week that some Republicans "are afraid the commission will get the facts" so they are "undermining the credibility" of the panel.I'm pretty sure Tom wouldn't want 'the facts' to get out about how much his wife profits because of what Tom does on the Senate floor...

..., a demand that was rejected as "silly" by Thomas Kean, the Republican chairman of the 9/11 commission.Unbelievably ignorant response.

I can connect the dots as anyone else and see the wedded bliss of the highest profile airlines lobbyist married to mr. ex-speaker, but how would her income come into play to discredit Dashole through 911 hearings except through graft which this political circus of a commission would never entertain?

I agree. She's got Kean wound around her finger. The old dog is being manipulated in the worst way. Just watch the two together. He's such a maroon.

She lobbied for the eviceration of legislation that would have required airlines to tughten security, "harden" cockpits to avoid hijacks, just little things like that, that ensured that 9/11 could happen.

"Gorelick has previously said she will not be deterred by political pressure. "I'm not going to resign from the commission," she told CNN earlier this month."
Isn't this just "rich" Gorelick a political hack that made sure the Clintons could not be investigated for political purposes is now pointing the finger accusing "political pressure".
It doesn't matter anymore whether Gorelick stays or goes this "The Commission" has been outed as a HOAX. "The Commission" helped a "fruit" make money with a book deal off the blood of 9/11, and an attempt to cover up the lies and corruption of the Clintons.

If she does then the $64,000 question is...How did she get him there?
To: philman_36
Well, have you seen the video of them exchanging cheek kisses and leaning into each other whispering, and she brushes something off of his coat jacket laughing? Very intimate....too intimate! I have seen this only on FOX.

...have you seen the video...I've seen the video.
I thought it was her way of saying "thank you" for sticking with me and for not running me off of the commission.
Very intimate....too intimate!
If that is the case then they need to heed Charlie Rich's Behind Closed Doors
She never makes a scene
By hangin' all over me in a crowd
And, as the song, goes...
Oh, no one knows what goes on behind closed doors
To: Libloather
After laughing, attacking evidence and ridiculing the
people that testified. And, having several Clintoon
operatives sitting on the committee judging themselves.
Are we now suppose to believe this Kangaroo report?

The Gorelick scandal will overshadow any conclusions produced by this 9/11 commission.
ESPECIALLY if she stays.
