My husband is hard at work trying to figure out the brand of bicylce. He's enlarging the photo that shows the logo on the front. If he can't figure it out, he'll take it on his Monday night group ride and beer drinking expedition and get other opinions. He doesn't want me to tell you yet but.... tada.... big surprise,.... he thinks it's French. LOL

sometimes he looks sort of goofy on the bike in a heterosexual mismatching sort of old guy geekiness that young women find amusing and sweet.Really??? I just thought of a great idea!! Lets you and I buy a clothing store and stock it with our new line!
We can name our store "Cajunsirch" and have the new line of "Heterosexual Mismatches," for sweet old guy geeks, Wear anything goes...
Do ya like it?

"Does he ever quit with the pointing for any length of time as evidenced in the first photo? I hate to sound shallow but this man is coyote ugly."And notice he's pointing left. He's saying "follow me boys and girls we're going left, waaaay left."
He could also be saying "I know the stamp on the frame says 'Made in China.' China, as we all know, is small town in Iowa. I campaigned in China, Iowa once no, really I did. I drove there in the family's SUV after I voted for the money for the troops but right before I voted against it."

2. Bicycle helmets are a joke.
In all likelihood, my son's best friend would still be alive if he had been wearing a bike helmet.
That said, from the photo, it doesn't appear that Kerry's helmet straps are properly adjusted. The straps should not be loose, as they appear to be in the photo.

Haha,,my husband loves Sonny's surplus, a store in Baltimore with years old surplus army clothing. And he never throws anything away,,he has a tee shirt from 1959,,I am not joking. He gets all these shirts and never throws away and is fond of wearing them,,he is a total fashion disaster for casual clothing. but his work clothing is nice. At least I threw away all his plaid bermuda shorts and his jams {remember them} so all his shorts are khaki so that has improved him alot. But he remains, hopeless.

3. He looks like a housewife in her 'Jazzercise' gear.
Hey now, watch it. My wife teaches Jazzercise and would take that as a serious insult. :)
She really does and she really would, but I wont show her your msg. So your safe. :)

I wear things until they become dust and blow away in the wind.

Also, he refuses to get a Handicapped tag for his car, or accept a Handicapped room at a hotel. He says, "Save that for someone who really needs it."
The only accomodation he makes on his bike is to remove the second pedal. He trains by riding in competitive events against two-legged (read: non-handicapped) cyclists. He even wins sometimes. But either way it sure prepares him for the upcoming Paralympic Trials, and likely the Paralympics in Athens.

I've seen another picture of JFriggin'K on a Serotta. Ben Serotta is a builder in upstate NY who's been producing frames since the mid-70's. I rode several in the 80's and they're nice bikes (expensive of course - couldn't afford one now)

Yep she is a Serotta -- Prices range from $1800 to $6000 and that is just for the FRAME!

My hubby agrees. Not French. They are expensive but bikes are sort of like banjos. You should buy the best you can afford. (My son's the banjo player and I'm stunned at what he paid last year for a banjo.) My husband wouldn't tell me what he paid for his but it's a custom fit Titanium Lightspeed Macalu.

It's not original, but everytime I see this guy in some sort of action pose, I think, "This is why the word, dork, was invented."
