And the libs ate it up because he was such a "fun" liar. They will turn on Kerry because he lies down to them.

Very true. When Clinton lied, he did with a half-smile to the interviewer, as if to say "I know it's a lie, YOU know it's a lie, and I'm not expecting you to believe it, but I AM expecting you to give it a pass for the Cause."

And the press slimeballs would adopt a BS-eating grin, give it a pass, and later - slap their knees, shake their heads, and say to each other "The boy is smooth, ain't he?"
