Senator Hillary Clinton rallied protesters as they prepared to march through the US capital in support of abortion rights, and called on the activists to vote for Senator John Kerry in the upcoming presidential election.
"All the people are here today not only to march on behalf of women's lives but to take that energy into the election in November," she said told supporters of Naral, one of the largest US abortion rights groups.
"This is the beginning of what would be a long effort to try to demonstrate clearly that this administration is not just turning the clock back in every way it can on so many issues that are important to women," the senator from New York said.
"Obviously choice, but so much else and that what we need to try to communicate as clearly as possible to all women and men who are fair-minded in America that a vote for a pro-choice candidate is a vote for conscience," she said.
"It's a vote for the choice that a woman and her family can make and it's also a vote for someone who will protect economic rights and health care and so much else," she said.
Kerry, a US senator from Massachusetts, is not attending the massive protest which organizers say will draw hundreds of thousands of people, but his daughter Vanessa and two sisters were participating.

Heard a tape of Hillary "speaking" to the crowd at the rally, on the radio last night.
Hillary was in her hateful, screaming, witch-like speaking mode --- made your hair stand up just to hear it.
I expect the tape will be prominently played on Rush's show today. Any dem who thinks she is presidential material ought to be FORCED to listen to just one minute of that tape -- I guarantee you that at least all the men will seriously consider changing their minds.

Who in the heck would want to get in Hillary's bush? You would have to wear one of those moon suits to even get near it.

Find something evil, and Whoopi Goldberg is going to be associated with it. She is the spawn of Satan, I'm convinced.

The March was a pitiful sight of unshaved armpits, pierced and over-tattoed body parts, foul-mouthed, vile-spewing, womyn and the men they made tag along with them.
On the bright side, Sadaam Hussein showed up....
.....(thanks, Doctor Raul, for the levity amongst the madness.)

I've always hated Whoopi-cushion's smirk. Whether it was Guinan or the nun - she had a smart aleck look about her.

Sen. Kerry truly wanted to be there to speak for the continued right of women to choose but couldn't be because he had to attend a really important special Mass at the Cathedral for the spirits of departed polo ponies.

A vote for pro-choice is a vote for a seared conscience. Everyone who is glad they weren't aborted, please raise your hand.
