Fox News and MSNBC are reporting Jordanian TV is showing the confession of the captured terrorist.....in the confession he explains that it was Zarqawi who sent them on this mission from INSIDE IRAQ.
If that is correct then Zarqawi has his hands on chemical weapons and has them in Iraq.

I think the CNN story was described as saying that the bomb would have caused a chemical "cloud." Blow up that much explosives and you're going to get a cloud for sure. Last week there was all the speculation about VX gas. Later that seemed to get woven into some stories as "fact." I'm not an NBC expert, so I can't really speculate any further.

Sorry, but I need some proof that something really did take place. Jordan is walking a very fine line between the islamists on one side and us on the other. If they did in fact break up a plot that would have killed 80,000 people the media would be all over it. Besides, why would the islamists want to kill 80,000 Jordanians, many of whom actually support the islamists? There's something fishy here.

Mowaffal Ali Adwan.
Some names stick in my mind, but this one doesn't. These Islamic names are particularly frustrating in that regard because they all seem to blend into one or two generic forms!
The Zarqawi connection is interesting. If true, then it would seem he has access. I would have assumed that, but maybe this story will get some legs in the general press, and it will cause some thinking. Not likely, but we can hope.

I knew I saw that name before ......he(Ali Adwan) was being hunted in Jordan......sounds like they toe tagged him..
