Muhammad Subeh was well within his rights to lie to them!!!

He is a Muslim, and it is permissible for Muslims to lie to, steal from, or kill anyone who is an "infidel", that is, anyone that is not also a Muslim.

Plain and simple, that is a religious belief, and the free exercise of his religion is protected under U.S. law.
