What happens in Kosovo now? This latest mass-orchestrated campaign of ethnic cleansing against Serbs in Kosovo, which started decades ago is persuasive evidence that Kosovo Albanians have an extremist and xenophobic leadership that is incapable of respecting minorities like Serbs, Gorans, Turks, Slavic Muslims and Gypsies. Kosovo Albanians cannot expect any kind of self-governance if they do not purge their leadership of xenophobia and extremism. The West asks this of Serbs, it must also demand the same from Kosovo Albanians. If the West fails to do this, Kosovo will only get worse and the appetite of Albanian extremism will only grow and further destabilize. Those who refer to Serbian sentimentalities over Kosovo as a mere perversion over some battle 600 years ago demonstrate a fundamentally inability to understand a crucial dimension to this complicated issue. It's like telling Jews that the desire for a Jewish homeland/Israel is based on their foolish memories of the ancient Jewish Kingdom thousands of years ago. We need informed opinions that have a deep understanding of the many complexities to this problem, not suggestions based on worn out political clichés and amateur political impulse. |
The following disturbing scenes show the acts of unprecedented violence and barbarism in the southern Kosovo city of Prizren. Once a home to 8.000 Serbs only 60 elderly Serbs remained in the Serbian quarter after the first ethnic purge in 1999. In the afternoon of March 17 large crowds of Kosovo Albanians gathered from all sides and began systematic destruction of all Serbian Orthodox sites in Prizren including the Seminary of Sts Cyrillus and Methodius, Bishop's residence, eight churches (including the large Cathedral of St. George and the medieval cathedral of the Holy Virgin of Lyevish) and finally stormed the Orthodox monastery of the Holy Archangels near Prizren from which the monks were evacuated in the last moment. These photos were taken by an unknown Kosovo Albanian photographer and placed on his web site which was closed yesterday because on the photos many faces of the perpetrators of these vandalisms and crimes can be easily recognized. ERP KIM info-service has grabbed the entire site before it was removed and is enclosing a selection of photos showing Kosovo Albanian barbarism in Prizren.

The Albanians are assured majority rule in Kosovo -- is it too hard to expect that could respect the rights of minorities? These Albanians are pathetic.

This too is Clinton's legacy..
Assisting the Islamist's destruction of Christians and Christian sites.
Gen. Clark should also be proud...
Where is the press?
Where is the "angry Christian street"...
Must we STILL regard Mosques as "holy sites"?

I think Milosevic knew what he was dealing with. Now, if America were to agree with him it would all be for nothing. They are doing this because they know America will choose to save face first.

The Bible predicted that this type of thing would happen.
"you shall be hated by all nations for My name’s sake." - Matthew 24:9
"all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution." - 2 Timothy 3:12
But the Albanians will get what they deserve for destroying those 150+ churches.

To: river rat
Well as Bush come in 3 years ago and this is on watch that he stand, this is also now Bush legacy, destruction of Christianity. Soon this become American legacy...along with tolerance of 1973 Turk invasion Cyprus, tolerance of Syrian & PLO destruction Lebanese Christian (US, might I remind, save PLO from Israel), US tolerance of allie Saudi who kick out all none islamics and of whom not word of criticism. US tolerance of Egypt and Sudan and killing of Christian. US support for Bosnian and Albanian/KLA islamos (to include screwing of former US allie Makedonia by support of US to Albanians).
Where is great Christian US? Seems US already prime to being Islamic state like England.

You have an "interesting" tagline.

You have an "interesting" tagline. The original was "borrowed" from one of our resident KLA/thug supporters and then modified by one of our friends abroad into the form you now see.

It rings of certain truths, unfortunately many innocent Albanians are scornfully caught in the mix with the local rabble of KLA thugs. Even if Kosovo were partitioned, what of those Kosovar Albanians that don't subscribe to the criminal authority of the KCP/KLA political body? Do we leave them to die with the non-Albanians that are being systematically murdered?
Tough questions to answer that NATO has yet to address.

This is not just Clinton's legacy--it's also the legacy of the neocons. Without McCain and Kristol/Krauthammer--Biden and Albright couldn't have pressured Clinton enough into the Balkan mess. Ever see Clinton eager for a fight? We could have stayed out of this one, or at least been on the right side...
Just do a google on neoconservatism and other keywords--Balkans, Clinton, Kosovo, Kissenger (who tried to stop our involvement). What you'll find will put you off neocons forever, or at least increase your skepticism when they start beating the wardrums.
Watch these Kosovo threads, and pay attn to who NEVER attends or posts. It's educational.
The neos would love for you to forget why the Albanian Islamists are much more powerful, and why ancient Orthodox churches are being burnt by the dozens this year.
We need to stop ignoring what is happening in the Balkans, and we need to notice why it happened in the first place.

"We're in this city to build bridges." Across which islamic horde will come to cut the throats of US sons and rape US daughters....America will die a bloody death that it bring to self through ignorance and pcness...own destruction of own stupidity....aka: "We need to pray. The way the world is today, how can anyone be against prayer?" Guess she never listen to islamic prayer and have it translate.

"innocent Albanians are scornfully caught in the mix with the local rabble of KLA thugs."
Their silence speaks volumes. The 4 year reality of the average Albanian is they have provided tactical support to the KLA Heroin Heroes by not turning in the bad guys. Prove any of the 50,000 in the riot were turned by their neighbors.
No more excuses.
