By granting an exception to the noise ordinance to a mosque, the city council is now pretty much required to give an exception to any other religious organization.

Notching this up a click would you want to live in a city where overriding noise in a foreign tongue ( saying God knows ( the One True One ) what would be blasting into your daily conversation along with quotes from Scripture.

To be 'PC' Scripture would necessarily refain from the use of verses about false prophets and false Gods - to meet ACLU guidelines.

Nope. I think the politicians here pretty much screwed themselves. From now on, they'll be hardpressed to turn down any request for exceptions to the noise ordinance. If they'd been smart, they should have said no exceptions for anyone.
