It looks like it might be close enough for a recount.

I assume the enthusiasm is because the Pittsburgh and rural areas haven't come it yet, while they're done with Philly?

Also, the PA Secretary of State web site is absolutely inaccurate and hopeless--whassup with that?

8K is still a big lead. It's still Specter.

At this point it all depends on where those last precints are. Obviously if they're near Philly, it's all over. If it's the rural areas though...

But consider where the numbers were just 10 percentage points ago. The trend has been in Toomey's direction.

It seems to be very small rural counties.

I read that the remaining precincts to be counted are rural, & they probably would go for Pat Toomey.

Here's hoping it's Toomey!

Because if PA is like most states, their bureacrats find it more important to fund "Mental Health" benefits and obsense payrolls for a vastly over staffed state work force to actually providing the services the people WANT

As much as I hate to admit it I think Specter has it.

I think Philly has been counted already. At least that's the way it looked earlier on Townhall.com.

Think again...Arlen squeaks it out. So close there could be a recount but then again, why bother?

Thanks a lot George and Rick without the meddling Toomey would have this already. Right now it is not looking good.

Uh-oh. Specter up by 8000 with 89% counted. That's a lot of ground to make up in a small % of the vote.

In fact, my calcs indicate that Toomey has to get 59% of the remainder--a tall order.
