Its not the TV stupid, its the candidate. He doesn't project likeability even in person. As usual, the Democrats don't get it. It has nothing to with John F*ckin's message or lack of one. It has everything to do with who he is as a human being. And if you can't get people excited about you, TV is going to only amplify what isn't there. The more you see of the Seinfeld candidate, the less you want to get know him.

Exactly. The Democrats need to remember a paraphrased admonition: "To thine own 'Ratself - remember you're a lying extremist in moderate's clothing."

Kerry CAN'T speak from the heart, else he'd be talking about astronomical taxes, abdicating sovereignty to the UN - and re-education camps for those lacking in Correct-Think.

Also, the bozo is a Senator - a position which never has to actually control and manage anything other than the paid-for sycophants and yes-persons they surround themselves with. And 'Rat Senators can wax forever with absolute lies and BS, without it ever being criticized, taken seriously - or actually having to be implemented.

This is why Senators rarely have the seriousness of thinking necessary to be a CEO of anything. And why 'Rat Senators need not ever get the chance.

The problem is that the dem's are starting to get it. Don't believe the polls either. If the private polls were telling them that Kerry was anywhere near Bush, you wouldn't hear any of this anti-Kerry talk. The truth is that Bush is at an unassaliable 45%, Kerry is probably around 35%. It is a very soft 35% at that.

Kerry is the perfect Dem candidate, for Bush. If Kerry is still around in November it might be a 50 state sweep. A landslide of epic proportions.

Ditto. The Dem big-thinkers fail to consider that maybe voters have seen through Kerry and discerned that he's nothing more than an ambitious pol who will say or do anything to get elected. Hey! Why is ther debate about John F***ing Kerry's medals? A soldier who earns medals and then throws them away in protest are NOT real soldiers, NOT real Americans. This act truly destroys Kerry's war "hero" image. But then again, Kerry lied to earn his Purple Hearts.
