Mr. King, You did AWESOME. I watched the "Debate", or what passed for the "Debate", and considering the unbalanced nature of your opponent and his obvious fear that you could possibly be free to devise your own thoughts and opinions, that obviously are diametrically opposed to his brand of radical demogogery,I would say you aquitted yourself nicely.
It takes Guts to stand up to these Self-Appointed and Self-Annointed,Hate-Mongers.
Next time I'd say Sean owes you one for throwing you to the wolves, he should of backed you up a little, and I'm going to be giving him a piece of my mind about that.
Next time, and there will be a next time, let that guy have it between the eyes. Don't let him get away with sniping at you about not representing the black community. Let Him and America know that he and his ilk represents part of what is wrong and perverted in this culture that has held many African-Americans back. It's him and his race-baiting friends, like Jesse Jackson that keep perpetuating the fears and the lies.
As I'm sure you are aware, Alan is a Pro, and he is adroit at steering the boat sideways when he needs to. You did get jumped, but you held your cool and you stuck to your points.
I was proud of your persistence and your ability to stay focused.

Unfortunately, that segment was designed to be a shout match and the only two people who really wanted to make a discussion was you and suprisingly Alan Colmes. Hannity and the NYC councilman were the bad guys in the segment.

No, Kevin responded here and in the other thread. He's done H&C before (and I think he has been on with Barron before, too!) , so was familiar with how they operate.

I've finally seen the video (it's available for download on FoxNews.com), and I have to agree - Sean could have jumped in at any number of points and didn't.

Also, I kept glancing down at that floor monitor when I shouldn't have.

Finally, if I hadn't blanked at the end, I would have gotten the point across about the seven years to rebulid Japan versus the less than one year it has taken to rebuild Iraq.

Alan grabbed the conversation and took off in a direction I wasn't ready for.

Just damn.
