Gorelick was #2 in the Justice Department, Clinton Administration.
Benvenista was/is Clinton attorney.

Neither Clinton nor Gore were under oath.

Just heard about Berger and Lindsay being with Clinton for his testimony (Laura Ingraham interviewing Senator Kyl) - hadn't heard that from the mainstream before. Let's see how much "leaks" out from the non-partsian (severe sarcasm) commission about the Presidents interview.

That's what I think of when I think of sKerry.

Clinton testified (not under oath) the afternoon of Condi Rice's testimony on TV. The media snuck that in at the end of the big whoop-de-doo stories about Condi.
He was accompanied by Sandy Berger and Bruce Lindsay. The source for this was a Time.com on-line article. There was also another source but Time should do it for your lib co-worker.
The whole point of both Cheney and Bush being there is to SAVE time. Cheney knows what was going on in Washington, Bush knows what was going on on Air Force I.
I fail to see any difference between Sandy Berger and Bruce Lindsay vs. Dick Cheney and Al Gonzalez, who, by the way, is not Bush's personal attorney but the White House Counsel, charged with providing legal information to the Office of the Presidency.

Ah, I see that Senator Kyl has said this on Laura Ingraham's program as well. Tell your lib acquaintance to stuff it; he/she simply has no idea what's going on.

Pity anyone at break time who gets between Bob Kerrey and the nearest open microphone.
The results would not be pretty!

I will bet cash money that BenVeniste is on Chris Matthews this evening characterizing the testimpny according to the approved DNC talking points.

Sandy Berger and Bruce Lindsey went with Clinton when he testified, although the press doesn't report that. A few have, of course.
What else did you want to know? I don't know much more than that but could perhaps try to help...

Re Clinton being open with his testimony. When Mansoor Ijaz testifies on 5/7, he will be refuting many of Clinton's claims re when Bin Laden was offered to him.
