Vanity - President Testify Being 9/11 Commission

I just got waylaid by a liberal who thinks the Presient is being contentious by taking his lawyer with him to appear before the 9/11 commission. He thinks that the President must have something to hide because Bill Clinton was so open with his testimony. I have been preoccupied and haven't been following the story. Help!

First, Bill Clinton took Bruce Lindsey, his lawyer, when he was questioned three weeks ago. Second, I believe that only Dick Cheney is accompanying the President for Questioning.

Was Clinton under oath? Not that it makes any difference since he's been disbarred for lying under oath. But I'm sure that it "didn't rise to the level" for your liberal friends.

I wish it was different but it really wouldn't matter what President Bush did or who he took with him at this point. I have to keep reminding myself of this also.....they don't want the truth, they just want to nail Bush. That is evident by the amount of time they have spent on this administration and very little on the past one.

I used to be a pseudo-liberal in high school and college. Not for long though. I discovered that nobody was really consistant with their views and standing. The only position they took was either supporting the underdog or incriminated unless that happened to be the position of the conservatives, in which case they would oppose it or belittle.
Ever see the cold white underside of a frog? That's what I think of when I think of Libs.

Major news media tend to omit the above.

Clintoon worried? No way - he's got one of his own stooges (a former junior to the Butcher of Waco) sitting ON the Commission.
Remind your lefty friends that the Commission is a farce - someone it should be investigating is a member.
