Five years ago, we were scammed by a poster known as DeepInTheHurtgrenForest. He came across as very believeable, as a high-ranking and knowledgeable military intelligence expert that is PRECISELY what i thought of this AM when i saw this thread and the other one. we looked like saps at least once. and i am sure there are those that get off on seeing that.

I've been in a couple of internet circumstances where someone has a "relative" post under their name to announce their "death" just to sit back and take in the comments. I guess some people just need that validation. It's creepy though.
