Post-election finance reports revealed that he received a last-minute $1.7 million infusion from his wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry, Was this in addition to the mortgage he took out on "his" half of the Beacon Hill house (yes, he mortgaged it for the race against Weld, too!)?
Also .. didn't they buy that home together shortly before his '96 re-election run?
