I don't know what President Bush expected from them, but I would imagine that the American people (excluding the hate mongering Dims) would expect that the members of this "august" commission would have nothing more important to do than to hear what the President has to say on this matter. I wonder where the very vocal "9/11 families" are on this. Apparently, they are only interested in hearing some of the 'truth".

Aside from that, it would seem appropriate that US senators would have more respect for the office of the presidency.

But I forget, these are Dims, whose leader disgraced the oval office as has never been done before, we're talking about.

You'd think so. But I'm guessing the priority amongst most of the commissioners has less to do with the sitting president, and more to do with protecting the "legacy" of the preceding one.
