Check out #15 and #18... with respect to the article posted at #1. I subsequently looked through a bunch of the POW/MIA FBI files, but I couldn't make it come together (even though I did find many more trips by Kerry to SE Asia). It's just something to keep in the back of the mind while looking at the big picture. Kerry's grandfather was born in Shanghai and had substantial interests there... and then the cousin is right there being awarded large contracts when the embargo was lifted... something smells here. (btw.. I think I have a typo in the embargo lifting date... I believe it was 12/14/94 vs. 2/14)

Thanks! I see what you're talking about. I had a similar hunch when I first saw this thread, but like you I'm not quite sure how it fits together yet, though I have some theories I haven't been able to substantiate yet. I didn't know the information on Kerry's grandfather--that is interesting.
