This is indeed an excellent letter. I had been looking forward to catching the Nightline program myself (for 'honorable' reasons, so to speak) and was actually rather irate that I was in one of the viewing areas that have been preempted by Sinclair. Now, reading this explanation, I'm no longer bothered about it as I was.

Chills up the SPINE! Hopefully, it feels like a nail IN the head to the dear senator.

I support Sinclair Broadcasting 110%!!
To: kaehurowing
WOW! Well done! I am so impressed. I needed something like this today. The media is so often a conservative's enemy that it gets tempting to just give up in despair. At least there is a good guy or two our there. Maybe a spark of hope.
To: kaehurowing
I hope that David D. Smith and Sinclair Broadcasting will accept my thanks for their actions regarding the Nightline program. If this keeps up, I may actually watch another network news program other than Fox.
I am so very sorry for voting for him when I lived there that I may have to move back to Arizona so that I can vote against McPain. Please forgive me America. He wasn't like this when I voted for him.

I wish there was more of a way to support Sinclair. The only station they have here in KC is the WB network, with no real news.

Where does this guy live?. Can we get him to run for Senator?Maybe we can get him to move to Arizona and run against McLame. He'll get my vote.

This morning Neal Boortz was saying Koppel said he didn't know it was sweeps week. Per Boortz, that is ridiculous for anyone in the TV/broadcast media to not know when sweeps is.
Koppel is supposed to be on Hannity radio program today.
Shep talking about this on FoxNews with Eric Burns.

WOW! Well done! That that McCain!

This hits the nail on the head.Great article. This statement really makes a greaat point.
It is "Nightline's" failure to present the entire story, however, to which Sinclair objects. "Nightline" is not reporting news; it is doing nothing more than making a political statement.

Yea, you may be getting your 15 minutes now, but eventually you'll be a dinosaur. Oh, wait....

Note to John McCain and Ted Koppel: Who the HECK do you two think you are that you can tell me, or anyone else, that Americans need reminding about the sacrifices are servicemen and women have made?! Speak for yourselves!
And if anyone can be said to speak for me, it's Mr. Smith, in his reply. Good for him.
