Backlash? These people have no idea what the word means.

The backlash will come when the majorities of the Western nations come to the realization that a) the Muslims are serious about converting or killing us all, and; b) point a is not subject to negotiation.

Some glimmerings...few and far between are starting to pop out in Europe. This "crackdown" the author is moaning about is nothing but a half-baked half-start to what is in store for the future.

And, unfortunately, I think it is going to get a lot worse before it gets any better. If it does get any better in my lifetime.

Yes, we must hope against hope that the Dutch and the Danes stick to their guns.

I think this war may go on for many generations. It has only lasted one generation so far, and the shooting has just started.

But you know my beloved "W" missed big chance. He missed a chance to say it was 'Islam', he needed to do that, and he blew it.

All that being said, however, it is IMPERATIVE that Kerry be defeated big time. I especially did not like the dems little trick today, having some unhappy Nat'l Guardsman give the "democratic responce" to Bush's radio address. Another little John F'in K in the making there.

Until this sick belief system is marginalized and demonized much like Naziism was marginalized and demonized after WWII, it will threaten the whole world. It is being given the respect that is given to a major religion.

It is not a religion, it is a nihilistic political movement.
