People need to remember that Kerry wasn't assigned Secret Service protection. He got it only after he asked for it. Usually Secret Service protection only starts after the official nominee is selected at the party's convention. He hasn't even got the official nomination yet. Kerry asked for SS protection because he wanted to pretend he was more important than he really is. It's no different than his having those movies made of him in Vietnam, in an attempt to make him look more like a soldier than a putz. Kerry's play-acting President...that's all.

Then why are you wasting(uh oh spelling error) your time with this?
Ok so you would ignore it ....fine. most of the time I would too. however at least 7 or 8 people were trying to understand what the man was saying (There was no last sentence posted in the original) that was found on #5 which people might or might not get to after they looked at the url to a web page with lots of nice stuff but nothing about this story(I know, I looked) You should also check out how we were treated for asking that it be fixed.

Sometimes you've just gotta let things go. It wasn't that important a posting to take up that much energy and time. Frankly, I could care less whether a link works or not. There's plenty of times that they don't. I don't take offense at that or get angry with the poster. I accept it and move on. I guess I'm just too old to get worked up over something as silly as a bad link. The gist of the story was posted and was understandable to me, with or without the link. Here it is 12 hours later and you're as intense about it now as you were this morning. Isn't it time to give it a rest?

Its funny how he turned a perfectly normal post into a screaming match. He wanted me to fix it, but what he fails to understand is that I cannot edit a post.
I asked the mods for help early on. I wasn't going to get all worked up because they hadn't had a chance to fix it yet. All the while..he was yelling at me to fix it!
