Anti-Christian Muslim Brings Pro-Islam Books to American Schools

Her name is Susan L. Douglass. She’s highly regarded by administrators within the American school systems. She’s Muslim. She’s anti-Jew and anti-Christian.

She instructed at Islamic Saudi Academy, Alexandria, Virginia, where Wahhabism is taught. The latter’s texts are anti-Jew and anti-Christian. Jews and Christians are, in expected Muslim parlance, "infidels." Infidels are unbelievers. Muslims are true believers. Infidels, according to the Koran, are to be killed or enslaved.

The Koran reads, for example:

8:12, I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them.

8:17, It is not ye who slew them; it was Allah.

8:60, Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly.

8:65, O Prophet! rouse the Believers to the fight. If there are twenty amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, they will vanquish a thousand of the Unbelievers.

According to Paul Sperry of WorldNetDaily, Douglass is known as a reputable scholar and "historian" throughout the American school systems. She has edited copy regarding world history for US middle and high schools. She serves as an academic advisor to state education boards on curriculum. She recommends material concerning world religions, Islam in particular. She has lectured thousands of public school instructors on Islamic studies.

The Virginia academy’s books are replete with anti-Jew and anti-Christian statements. "For example, the eleventh-grade text says one sign of the Day of Judgment will be when Muslims fight and kill Jews, who will hide behind trees that say: ‘Oh Muslim, oh servant of God, here is a Jew hiding behind me. Come here and kill him.’

"Al-Ahmed, a Shiite Muslim born in predominantly Sunni Muslim Saudi Arabia, says the school's religious curriculum was written by Sheik Saleh al-Fawzan, a senior member of the Saudi religious council, who he said has ‘encouraged war against unbelievers.’

"’It is a school that is under the auspices of the Saudi Embassy,’ said Ali al-Ahmed, executive director of the Washington-based Saudi Institute, a leading Saudi opposition group. ‘So the minister of education appoints the principal of the school, and the teachers are paid by the Saudi government.’

"He says many of the academy's textbooks he has reviewed contain passages promoting hatred of non-Muslims." See U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom for detail.

"’Christians and Jews repeatedly are labeled as infidels and enemies of Islam who should not be befriended or emulated, and are referred to in eighth-grade textbooks as 'apes and pigs,'" the report said. In addition, it found that ‘some Saudi government-funded textbooks used in North American Islamic schools have been found to encourage incitement to violence again non-Muslims.’"

Douglass is helping to see through the current "gloss over" in America. It’s the work of Muslims to gloss over the violent sections of their religion and books about their religion, including the Koran. It’s a public relations effort to make Islam appear as the "peace religion" it’s not.

For example, the Hamtramck, Michigan cleric who asked the town council for his mosque’s loudspeakers to broadcast calls to prayer said his move was meant to be cordial. He did not mean to cause any stir. He was coming to the council low-key. So it goes with the seemingly kind entree of the Muslim leadership as well as grassroots Muslims.

Yet behind the Islamic religion is the intent to take over the world by wiping out all non-Muslims. Their history shows that to be true. Their books teach it. Their so-called holy book, the Koran, spells it out in chapter and verse, over and over again.

Another example of "gloss over" is the present-tense Muslim leadership trying to change the word "jihad" from meaning "waging war" to "dying while fighting in the cause for Allah." Not true, of course. Jihad means to kill off infidels — now and forever.

This public relations effort to whitewash Islam continues daily throughout North America especially. Douglass is at the forefront, infiltrating the American schools with her pro-Islam propaganda.

My mother has a Muslim friend. The one's who've assimilated (read: they're not fully following the fundamental tennets of their faith) are really nice, actually.

The "Arabs are Semites too" argument has been answered so well, so many times, for so many years, in so many forums, that it's understandable that you would expect Freepers to know better than to bring it up.

Maybe I should, but I don't. Urban myths die VERY hard deaths; I've succumbed to many of them myself.

One beef I do have with a lot of other Conservatives is the Vince Foster issue. I mean, he shot himself. Get over it; there's plenty of other dirt to dig up on Clinton, you know?

LOL Yup. There ya go.

Just don't let anyone stop ya from using the term as you did. It has never been defined as bigotry against semitic people, only Jews. So you didn't misuse it at all. ; )

I don't know how accurate this report is... I'm waiting to hear more myself. But it is worth investigating, and would not surprise me to be real. In fact, the only thing that will surprise me is if we don't have this sort of thing going on, if not now, then soon.

I don't know what the answer is. I want freedom of religion and educational choice. But I'm afraid of the consequences of sitting idly by while they teach generations of their children to despise us. Especially with the birth rates and immigration... we could wind up like Israel some day. But we will have been the victims of our own tolerance and belief in liberty.

Gosh I don't want to sound like Pat Buchanan, tho...

It's just a very serious potential threat that I hope we are preparing ourselves to meet.

It seems we have separation of Church and state for orthodox Judeo/Christian morals and beliefs, but not for Muslims, or even for secular fanatics for that matter.

There is definately a double standard in America. What I don't understand, is why is there such a push to lie about the Islamic faith? Obviouisly, these people are without a doubt the most intolerant group on the planet. I mean if we are going to extol and uphold the tolerance idea, then doesn't it make sense we would not like or even support the Islamic faith. Please don't misunderstand, I think this idea of tolerance is the biggest, steamiest pile of mastadon dung ever displayed to the general public. However, with all of this push to insist on tolerance, why would anyone wish to support a religion that openly advocates the murder of those who do not accept and follow their beliefs?
