U.S. Economy: March Factory Orders Increased 4.3% (Update2) May 4 (Bloomberg) -- Orders placed with U.S. factories jumped 4.3 percent in March, the biggest increase since July 2002, as an accelerating economy prompted companies to demand more machines, electronics and petroleum.

It's amazing what we've come to. The economy is now Bush's strength, and Iraq his weakness. It's the exact opposite of what all the pundits were predicting as recently as a couple of months ago.

While a guy from Conway Trucking, a delivery firm was at the house yesterday, I asked him how business was going. He said they are very busy, the busiest they have been in 2-3 years.
