Poe's words have an unmistakable ring of truth, explaining all my eyes have witnessed but head could never satisfactorly explain using ordinary horse sense.

Our beloved nation would be in serious trouble if even *one* of the man's allegations were true, but truth is I sincerly believe all to be true.
