I am rather amazed that I have not seen placards saying "John Kerry is the reason Viet Nam vets were spit on when they got home"

I talked recently with a Viet vet, who when returning from Vietnam through SanFrancisco, was urinated on by hippies who positioned themselves on catwalks under which the vets had to pass to leave the airport. He said it was worse with the women (who would simply raise their dresses, revealing a lack of underwear) whose urine would "spray everywhere" and was harder to avoid. Nice people.
