Sounds like Liliana has done more for the country she loves than the Know-Nothing Uber-Patriots who despise her for her legal status.

Still, she knowingly, at the age of 18, perpetrated identity theft, which is a federal crime. Fraudulent enlistment is also a crime, as is lying to federal agents. All of these things she agrees she has done. And that doesn't even take into account the illegal status with no attempt to become a legal resident.

That being said, I for one appreciate her commitment, service, and loyalty to her adopted country. Perhaps this can be used to provide true legal status under the name Liliana Plata, once she rectifies her glaring mistakes of the past few years.

Hey CJ, IF Liliana *loves* the USA so much, why didn't she take advantage of the many *new deadlines* on the 'mini' 245(i) amnesties ???. We've had MANY of these in the last 14 yrs. since she arrived.

She could have paid a cheaper "mordida" to the US gov't & became legal, instead she CHOSE to pay her "mordida", to another criminal, & steal someone's identity.
