They hate him because their mortal enemy, Ronaldus Magnus, also saw much promise and ability in him. May Reagan haunt them 'till the last!

Well, if he is on FoxNews, that would be nice, but what he needs is national attention...

This thread is NOT about the president, it's about Rumsfeld.

There are plenty of other threads out there to bash Bush on. Pick one.

The worst part is, in typical Dem style, they'll drag it on and on, ad neauseum, going farther overboard every day. They must hope the hype will make us lose the war on terror as well as destroy the president.

This stuff should've been dealt with and nipped in the bud. But the Libs are only using this as political fodder to stoke up the heat on Bush.

I've been posting similar comments for 3 days and getting flamed by the oh-so-self-righteous-conservatives. This is politics--at its dirtiest. The libs found a molehill issue and many conservatives, biting hook, line and sinker, have helped make it into a mountain.

The whole thing could have been dealt with in a simple statement--that the issue was dealth with and those involved were punished MONTHS ago--but it wasn't.

The libs found this dead horse. Now, with the help of many conservatives, they are beating the dead horse for all its worth.

We should compile a list of the crap and nonsense that they've dried to hang this President with

That would be an interesting documentary thread.

Cyncooper and other freepers discovered last night that the attorney/mentor of that Oregon man arrested in connection with the Madrid bombings is the same man who is representing some people connected to the Iraqi abuse matter.

It's a small world, but not that small. I want to know who that lawyer works for.

"FNC - Spain confirms American's prints found on Madrid evidence of 3/11 bombing."

Yep. He's been arrested as a material witness. He's a lawyer who converted to terrorism...and Islam.

Prediction: Kennedy will rant at Rumsfeld, and Hillary will be conciliatory (trying for the middle-of-the road approach). She will NOT attack, but will ask intelligent questions about steps being taken to deal with this.

After all, the man she wants to lose has already come out and asked for Rumsfeld's resignation.

This is a little off topic, but did anybody see Senator Inhofe on Hardball last night hold up a TopSecret Iraqi Intell document (from 1992 I believe) linking Iraq and al Qaeda. Mathews was dumbfounded when the Senator said to him that links between Saddam and al Qaeda was essentially a "settled" matter.

Matthews is always a little dumbfounded. I guess he got more than he bargined for with Sen. Ihofe

PLEASE reread my comment. I prefaced it with saying the actions against the POWs were WRONG!! and those guilty should pay......and what makes you think the Iraqis aren't abusing Americans???? Let's see, some are killed, and drug through the streets......no abuse?????
