(the news has pro-homo spin but it was the only one in English I could find)
This was from May 7th. What actually happened on May 8th was that counterdemonstrators sat on the pavement and blocked the gay march from reaching its final destination. There also was some egg and rock throwing.

Homosexual Agenda Ping + Good NEws From Poland!
These Poles know the score. Remember when they wouldn't let the "abortion ship" land? And there was all kinds of ruckus?
Hmmm - so there was civil disobedience - blocking the "gay" pride parade - and some rock and egg throwing, "No sexual perversion for Krackow".
Let me know if anyone wants on/off this pinglist.
What's the exact situation with Poland joining the EU? Anyone know?

From what I saw...Krakow has been invaded by more traditional European liberals then th erest of Poland.
I hope they stand up against this illness looking to invade Eaastern Europe too.

I would hate to go to CK Browar's and find out it had been taken over by the Gay Pride contingent.

The first session of the enlarged European Parliament took place in Strasbourg yesterday, with 162 deputies from the new member countries, including 54 deputies from Poland, participating.
However, contrary to parliamentary norm, the speeches of deputies from this country were dominated by religious fervor and the need for references to God in the European Constitution. "Europe cannot tear itself away from its Christian roots. If it does, it will gradually die," said Law and Justice deputy Aleksander Szczyg?o. Polish Family League deputies even demanded the presence of their interpretation of God in the parliamentary chamber and tried to hang a crucifix on the wall, which, unsurprisingly, led to protests from the astounded deputies of other countries. The battle lines have been drawn! In Aleksander, we see a man of faith and action. God bless and reward him!

Gay pride? How about a gay shame parade?
It could feature themes of shattered lives and variety of diseases and other social ills of a degraded culture, the billions of dollars diverted from medical research for cancer and heart disease wasted because the government and health officials don't have the guts to tell perverts to quit sticking things where they don't belong.

Apart from homosexuals, Amnesty International, various feminist organizations and environmentalists will join the march organized as part of the Culture of Tolerance' festival Doesn't matter whether it's supposed to be an "anti-war" protest, or an "anti-globalism" protest, or a "pro-sodomy" protest ... it's always the same rat-pack of unwashed hippies displaying mind-boggling perversity and ranting against all that is good and holy.

Some photos.
Pro-homosexual demonstrators were to meet near the main building of Cracow (Jagiellonian) University. Just before that, "suprisingly", the pavement repairs started:
