Did you read "At Any Cost: How the President tried to steal the Election", also by Sammon? I recommend it to everyone, especially to make sure that the same thing does not happen again.

Actually, it was not the "President" trying to steal the election. It was Gore and Sammon makes that abundantly clear. It was a great book!!
To: publius1
Thanks for the recommendation, but I'm way behind in my Bush-reading, having not yet finished either BUSH COUNTRY by John Podhoretz, or A MAN OF FAITH: THE SPIRITUAL JOURNEY OF GEO. W. BUSH.

A bookstore here in Lexington, KY has had it on the shelf since last week.

Amazon announced the book would be published May 11th. Tell your book store they're a better source than Amazon.

My bad...I'm sorry. That is what I meant to say, that Al Gore tried to steal the election, was the topic of the book.
Please don't send me to the ZOT brier patch!

I would never send a Christian for Bush there!

I bought it at Borders, Rapid City, SD. last Thursday. A really good read. Quite refreshing after all the other slime that has been published lately.
To: Wait4Truth
Thanks. It's a good thing that I'm not a Republican candidate for office...I would have to be apologizing like crazy, and would have the Demoncrats clamoring for my resignation.

Good job. In my haste I mistyped the title of the book.
I certainly don't believe that President Bush tried to steal the election (heck, he won the count and the recount), any more than I believe that the devil really is in a red suit with horns and a pitchfork. I just was trying to get a quick note up, and made a really bad error. "My bad..."
I hope it makes the bestseller list at Barnes & Liberal, so I can get a discount without having to wait for S&H. Otherwise, I'll get it through the Conservative Book Club (shameless plug).
