Kerry: "I've got three words for the Republican Attack Machine, Bring It On!"

"Unless of course they are going to mention my voting record, my record in Vietnam, my medals, my wife, my families SUVs,..."

This is the same person who told the press in Chicago, "We're gonna keep fighting, I'll tell ya, we're just beginning to fight here"...right before his sotto voce complaint about the "most crooked, you know, lying group that I've ever seen." (It's scary)

Uh, correct me if I'm wrong...but in a fight, don't BOTH combatants get to "throw"?

I saw a thread on FR earlier, where presumably FJK told the Dems to lay off of the President about his Guard Service (a dog that didn't hunt in 200), and that HE WOULD NOT GO THERE.

So what does Flipper do, when Charlie Gibson (VRWC member that he is) interviews Kerry, about Kerry's own words, and how they differed from what Kerry told Peter Jennings (another noted VRWC emmisary), he flies off the hinge, blames it on the Republicans, and its President, "who can't even prove that he was in the National Guard."

So when the Dems lie and attack, it's good. However, when the Republicans call him to account on his record and his own statements, it's an attack.

When anyone talks about his medals/ribbons/whatever, he and his surrogates call them "chickenhawks". When people with whom he served come out and say that he is unfit to be CIC, they are immediately branded as VRWC (even though many are...are you sitting doen...DEMOCRATS!)

Someone just said on the radio, when you vote for a candidate for President, you're not just getting a President, you are getting everything that is associated with the President...judges, policy makers, etc. If it matters to you to have people of character CONTINUE to be in the White House, then you won't be so quick to vote for Kerry as a "protest" vote.

Back to my point. John Kerry was the one who decided to run on his record from Vietnam (WTH else was he going to run on?). Therefore, the whole of that time concerning him is fair game. Tereza decided to open her mouth (and her pocketbook) with concern to this campaign, and so she is fair game.

Before you complain, Flipper, let me remind you of what a great President said: "the President must mean what he says." And when you say "BRING IT ON!", as an apparent mockery of the President, don't sit here whining and crying like a little b-atch when he does.

OUT!
