If it was a autosign link as many email programs do then why blame the student for clicking on something sent to hin in the first place? It's bizarre. BTW, the teacher is a dumbass for having a gay webpage teaching as he is.

"a false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is his delight."

Good verse, I'm also reminded a lot lately of the verse that goes something like "The Lord hates those who call good bad and bad good".

"We are trying to run a proper school."

Proper?

I guess I should read the whole article before posting an opinion. But first thing in the morning, the old cerebrum is not firing on all 100,000 neurons. Or 100 for that matter.

Nonetheless, this poor kid is probably worse off by being in this church school than if he had gone to the "government indoctrination centers" (public school). Talk about teaching a child a warped sense of right and wrong. Terrible!!!

It boils down to two world views.

1. God exists, and His laws are absolute, eternal, unchanging, and unarguable. They are meant for all time, all places, and all people. There may be minor variant details throughout time or in different religions, but the foundation is the same. Judaism, Christianity, even Islam, Hinduism, even Buddhism, Taoism, Jain, Sikh dharma - all the same in the basics. Humans are created to follow these rules, and if we don't, there are terrible repercussions, now and in the future (after death). Our "opinions" don't matter and can't change the truth.

2. The mind of man is supreme, God doesn't exist except as a creature of one's own imagination and can therefore be made to dance like a puppet according to one's proclivities. Each individual can follow their own mind and [deluded] heart and everything will be hunky-dory. Couple problems - this worldview makes the world into an insane asylum with no one in charge, and it is also based on the ultimate hypocrisy. Because those who follow this world view have no respect for the "diversity" they supposedly worship. What they really worship is their own sense organs and desires in connection with them.

It's really black and white.

It's really black and white.

I hope you know I know that.

I tried real hard to write some of that relativistic "logic." I have to admit that it didn't make a lick of sense even while I was writing it.

I still remember a section of one of Ravi Zaccharious' (sp?) books where somone was trying to explain to him the concept of both-and rather than either-or.

Ravi said, "So it's 'both-and' or...?"

The guy actually got the point.

Shalom.

I know where you stand!!!

I just used your satirical comments as a jumping place for adding my own 02.

The phrase "separating the sheep from the goats" keeps entering my mind.

And not in sectarian terms - in terms of those who believe in God in a faithful and submissive way, and those who don't, as in my post above. And BTW, as you well know, there are many "believers" who think they believe in God and they "serve" by offering "Him" severed heads. It isn't God they believe in. I am not one who says Mohammed is a demon or that Allah isn't a name of God. But cruel subhuman terrorists may say they believe in God, using the name Allah; it isn't God they are serving.

It isn't God they believe in.

Don't I know it. I've been having a discussion with FReeper malakhi on another thread about the difference between a religion born in a cave, and one born in the light of history.

If there is one thing clear about the history of G-d with the Jews (and the Christians), it's that He believes in redemption, not retribution. He only destroys when all opportunity to redeem has been lost.

Shalom.
