Yes, in my research Muhammed basically got pissed that no one in his part of the Arab world was listening to him preach the Christian religion and so in his bitterness, developed the Koran which fell in line with more of the violent attitudes of tribal warfare in his region which is how is gained acceptance.

Unfortunately, no way to debate or negotiate with them, only destroy them until the power base has shriveled to nothing. Bummer is the power base is underground and it takes more time to find first, then destroy.

I heard the audio on Dennis Prager's program. Sickening. Don't arrest Zarqawi, just whack him!

Since you are the only one who appears to have objected to anything I've said on this thread, I have to assume that YOU are the one who needs to check the dosage on his medication.

What is that? Is it Latin?
What's this guy's problem with your tagline?

I'm glad to read your post. My wife and I watched this video last night before I went to work 3rd shift. I too haven't felt this angry and sick since 9/11. I have seen horror movies, but nothing compares with seing a real human being being treated this way. The worst part for me was going to work, and not one person I work with knew anything about it other than seing it in the newspaper. As we all know, seeing a picture of this man alive doesn't begin to tell the tragedy of Nick Berg's final minutes. I try to take the high ground, but my mind will no longer let me. I want them all dead. I want the Middle East flattened. I have no pity or sympathy for these "things". I have never felt so much hatred for someone, and I don't think it's healthy.
I have stood by Bush, even as the world calls him a right wing neocon. But lately, even Bush isn't as far right as I'd prefer at this moment. God help us all.

It is a classic line from Mel Gibson's movie
Braveheart.
"I do not tell lies . . . but I am a savage."

homo indomitusDoes that really mean savage or indomitable man, or are those terms equivalent or interchangeable? They certainly don't seem so to me.

I've seen some minor complaints about the poor Latin translations in the movie, but the dialogue in question was sub-titled and I seem to clearly remember it as "a savage."
The context of the dialogue is very important. Wallace is speaking with the English princess (who is actually French, but married to the son of King Edward) who was sent out to negotiate terms for peace with Wallace's Scottish rebels. Wallace is supposed to be little more than a wild, ignorant barbarian, but when the princess' aide says to her (in Latin) that "he is a lying savage," Wallace utters his classic reply (in Latin, as well) to both of them. From this point forward it is clear to them that this is no ordinary barbarian.

I've seen the movie, so I understand the context your talking about, and your explanation does make sense.
