There is no Iraq link to terrorism < /sarcasm>

You don't understand...in line with the "it's all our fault" school of thinking, they would never have GONE to Iraq if we hadn't have invaded.

And now back to the real story: poor terrorist prisoners are forced to wear underwear on their heads and bark like dogs blah blah blah

He was known to be in Iraq long before the war began. For years I believe.

Okay, and now that we know this what are we, the USA, going to do? Take nearly 3 years to repeatedly "almost" catch Al-Zarqawi time after time?
Kill them. Kill all of them.

Radio news is calling Al Zarqawi a "Jordanian Militant." No reference to Al Queda or Bin Laden. Even though they announced their affiliation with Bin Laden on the tape. Folks, we can't fall any further down the misinformation well than this.

The fact that seems to be missing in all this is that we actually WON the war in Iraq. It was over last year. We deposed Saddam and we are in the process of installing a legitimate government for the Iraqis.
Now that the war in Iraq is over, we are now fighting the war on terrorism and we just happen to be fighting it in Iraq. Al Quieda and their ilk are in Iraq and they are intent on killing Americans where they find them. We must be intent on making sure they don't succeed there so that they cannot later succeed here.

I wish I could read the Arabic in the cartoon. I imagine it has Bush saying something like "thanks for taking the attention off my prison abuse". Sick.

My 13 year old son came home from school the other day and said Dad, did you know TereZa was married to another Senator before she married John Kerry?
I told him yes it was Senator Heinz but he was a Republican.
He looked at me for a second and then said sounds like she downgraded.
Junior tractorman will make a fine conservative voter someday.

I don't believe he was in CIA/FBI "custody"....they did, however, question him.....and he was OFFERED a trip home, which he refused.

P-Marlowe,
>>>"...we actually WON the war in Iraq... we are now fighting the war on terrorism and we just happen to be fighting it in Iraq... We must be intent on making sure they don't succeed there so that they cannot later succeed here."
Great synopsis of the situation. Why can't we just partition the country into 3 pieces to make our job easier?
It appears that we aren't going to use the time-proven technique of installing a friendly dictator.
Why all this nation-building, and misplaced idealism?

We better kill this Zarqawi guy, no use in capturing him. If I was CIA I'd be afraid to ask him any questions without tea and a handshake.
