RUSH: New York Times today -- I got heads up on this story last night. And I just could not believe it. I was stunned. And here we go. [Headline] "Harsh CIA Methods Cited in Top Qaeda Interrogations."
"The CIA has used coercive interrogation methods against a select group of high level leaders and operatives of Al-Qaeda, that have produced growing concerns inside the agency about abuses, according to current and former counterterrorism officials.
"At least one agency employee has been disciplined for threatening a detainee with a gun during questioning. In the case of Khalid Sheik Mohammed, a high level detainee who is believed to have helped plan the September 11th attacks, CIA interrogators used graduated levels of force including a technique known as water boarding in which a prison is strapped down, forcibly pushed under water and made to believe he might drown."
And we're going to beat ourselves up over this now? The media has done its best to make the murder of Nick Berg a second-tier story. We've got the Iraqi prison photos -- by the way, have you seen -- all these senators, have you seen -- there's two different versions of the additional photos that they have seen. Have you seen this? One group of senators, "Ah, it's just more of the same". Another group of senators, "I can't even describe how bad it is. I don't want anybody to see them. These are just out of this world. They are intolerable. I can't believe what I saw. I couldn't believe what I was looking at." Then the other senators, "Ah, it's just more of the same."
Senator Kennedy, ladies and gentlemen, said that he didn't need to look at any of these other pictures. He could just have Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi act them out for him. I'm making that up. It's a joke. But, for crying out loud, now we're going to start reaming the CIA? Well, Mr. Snerdley didn't laugh. So if he's not laughing, maybe nobody else is. Maybe it's too believable. (Laughing.)
Anyway, folks, we're now going to start beating up on the CIA? I know what water boarding is. It's been written about in all these terrorist thriller novels by Vince Flynn. And, in fact, in not the current Vince Flynn novel, but the previous Vince Flynn novel, the hero of the Vince Flynn novel, what's his name -- I'm having a mental block on the hero's name. Anyway, he is accused of water boarding a suspect and getting information from him. These Vince Flynn novels are amazingly prophetic.
But what are we doing here? These are the people that led the attack, were involved in the planning of 9/11, and now the New York Times is all concerned about the excessive use of techniques in interrogation of 9/11 suspects? These people need to be given medals it seems to me. For crying out loud, what are we doing here folks? What in the world are we wringing our hands over? And how naïve are people? How naïve have people really become? This is just stunning to me.

The audience didn't object to this method used on AlQueda on Linda Vester's show..The ruined and burning WTC was shown along with the question "Is it OK?
Never Forget!
Linda Vester was pissed at the left today !
I was impressed!..
Massachusetts Democrats think that what Bush did with Iraqi prisoners was wrong and that they could do a better job. They have a simple plan that can't fail. Throw a party for all the mistreated prisoners. Hold it at the home of their senior Representative. Their junior Senator can pay for it. And their senior Senator can drive them.
I truly fear we are now in even more danger. This is truly out of hand!!!!!!!!!1
Our wonderful soldiers and innocent civilians are going to die because of this.
Part of the problem is the orifices of the fools on the left are impacted with sand (from their head in the sand positions).
