I am not buying the father's story on him. This guy Nick Berg was up to something.

Why don't they just say that he had two anti-semetic books?

Authorities tried to tell Berg to go home and offered to pay for everything, but he told them: "You don't understand these people like I do. You're here for a reason - and so am I."

He had to be a liberal, only from their mouths could something this completely wrong and arrogant come from

"When Berg was arrested in Mosul, he had two items with him that made authorities nervous: a copy of the Koran and another book reportedly entitled either "The Jewish Problem" or "The Jewish Solution." "

A Google and Amazon search turned up no book with either title. There were a couple of books with titles containing those words, but none were anti-semitic.

It would be nice if they got the title right so we could all see what book it was.

I understand Nick Berg was apparantly a son seeking to justify his "differences " between what he beleived--and
what his father believed. IF his daddy was a supporter of
International ANSWER, and like minded Blame America First
groups--and the son of a different opinion-- It seems Nick
went to Iraq to find himself--and to reconcile with his
father, upon his return. But Who knows? The brutal act of
a "good" Muslim(a true slave of Muhammed--and Allah) did what Muslims everywhere are encouraged do by their bloody
religion. And the land is defiled by the shedding of innocent blood.
