I think their demise is grossly overstated. There should be no problem here once the true liberal believers understand the issues. Streisand, Redford, Chomsky, the Wellstone estate, Gere and all the other really wealthy believers in truth, beuty and freedom will surely kick in the funds necessary to sustain this noble effort.

No, really. Someone has to pay the salaries of these alternative performers, for their habits and their lavish life styles. This is a test for the rich folks in the Malibu compounds.

And, many needy folks are relying on the ultra-wealthy left (especially those who need more tax deductions for their foundations). All those organizations who need a voice are relying on Air America for free air time for their important messages. They are forced to be silent because no one else believes their messages are important and they don't have the money to afford air time. Air America is for them!!
