Good work! I admire you. This man sounds a little paranoid and brittle, actually. I am truly concerned that this a liberal psychosis. I have heard too many reports lately about bizarre, brittle temper tantrums coming from leftists - usually from the water-carriers, not the hood ornament politicans. They cannot argue and cannot abide contrary opinions. At the bottom they are fractured and have just put coat after coat of good-feeling plaster over it, but it's never enough.

As far as the death penalty question.; that is not a moral equivalent to abortion since thwe person is guilty; and it is not required that Catholics oppose it. Many leftist /socialist bishops try to push their liberal beliefs under the guise of Catholicism.
Capital punishment is not listed as one of the 5 'Non Negotiable' issues, which are: abortion, embryonic stem cell research, euthenasia, cloning, and homosexual marriage.
