TALLIL AIR BASE, Iraq -- An Iraqi boy eats crackers given to him by members of the 407th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron who are supporting Operation Reachout here May 7. Operation Reachout is a program started by security forces members to build a friendship with the surrounding Bedouin families. Security forces people visit these families weekly, bringing them food, water and candy for the children. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Christina Rumsey)
Is there a place where these good news stories are gathered that I can point people to?
I go to air Force link. It is an Air force news web site run by the Air Force, so most of the stuff is positive. I think it is very good they are updating it all the time. My favorite part is "this week in pictures" it's 10 pics from the USAF and they could be anything from fighters, mechanics working on planes, security forces, to what you just saw.
I wonder if it would be possible to have another freepathon to raise money so that an add can be bought in a major U.S. newspaper in which pictures can be posted showing all the good things that are going on in Iraq by our military. What does anyone think about that?
