No problem. While I've never had any problems with the LinkSys devices (now owned by Cisco), there seem to be a lot of people here that have. I've been using a Linksys BEFSR81 (8 port switch, broadband Firewall/Router) for a few years now with no problems. Otheres here have reported having great results using pretty much the same device from DLink and Netgear. They're not too dificult to set up, even for someone with NO experience. For a small network, with only 2 or 3 computers, the 8 port switch is overkill... 4 ports would be plenty for most home or SOHO networks (ask me about the 24 port switch (w/ 2 GB ports!) I've got in the other room!
