Not worthy of Boy Scouts??? What's wrong with the Boy Scouts? Does anyone other than me feel that we are not getting our money out of this 911 panel? They were supposed to come up with constructive suggestions on how future 911s could be prevented. However, they've indicated that they don't have any ideas. Instead, they spend their efforts cutting down the people who are just trying to do their job.

"We felt this (anthrax) was the next coming wave," he said. "We had developed plans on how to isolate the air conditioning system and shut it down but never did we have a thought of what happened on 9-11."

And what would they have done had they known, plane-proof the building? I am sick of all of them, particularly those like Hamilton and Kerrey who served in Congress and did nothing to alert this country but shamelessly blame every organization whose priorities they were expected to set. Kerrey says they defeated the INS, the FBI, the CIA...NO, they defeated Clinton and Congress.

Enemies and proterrorists are obvioulsy doing a lot of "work" here. Politicians do not like to see that they are incapable of picking up the trash and that every one else is to blame.

Line of questioning was designed to chip away at Guilliani's reputation.

Of course the family crowd was probably loaded with the anti-Bush 9/11 families, as has been done before.

Did you see this? Those despicable 9/11 panel members criticizing those heroes who rushed into buildings on 9/11 have some nerve. And the families who clapped. How dare they? Those heroes who died, those heroes who helped others do NOT deserve to be treated like this.

"Reiss bristled under questioning from commission member Bob Kerrey, who asked him if he is angry that "things might have been different had they (FBI) trusted you enough" to deliver important intelligence. Reiss said he was not angry at the FBI, but rather at "19 people in an airplane," referring to the hijackers."

So here is something worthy of your report, 9-11 Commission!

Surprised at Lehman. This commission is a joke. What is with the United States? Always carping on those that stand between us and anarchy, the military and our firefighters. Sick bunch of bureaucrats.

As Von Essen testified, Sally Regenhard — who lost her firefighter son — held up a piece of paper reading: "LIES."

A correction is in order..

Ping

The 9/11 Commission is completely insane. They have some kind of weird notion that they have some superhuman overriding moral authority and can mete out justice with the wave of a hand and the stroke of a pen. Hectoring all who dare to present themselves and offer puny excuses for not having the foresight and knowledge to have prevented evil incarnate from attacking us.

Get the hook for this sick and sorry crew!

The 911 commission is a bunch of Monday morning quarterbacks. Except even with the benefit of hindsight, these A--holes don't have a clue.

Example: "Well Mr Conspiracy Guy, if you had not swung the hammer, wouldn't you think your thumb would not have been smashed? What did you know about the hammer and when did you know it? Wouldn't a nerf hammer be less dangerous? Wouldn't you agree that the steel hammer is inherently dangerous? Be quiet Mr Conspiracy Guy I only have 15 minutes so I need to create all my talking points. John Kerry would never swing the hammer. Wouldn't you say that driving the nail is job for the UN? Have you ever seen a grown man naked? "

The whole Kangeroo Court is a disgrace to Kangeroos and their judgement.

The disappointment for Kerrey and company is that nobody seemd to have been prepared for a direct airliner attack.
The same story as before when grilling zeroed exclusively around who of Bush's administration is at fault not to have defended against such a specific attack.
The commission urgently needs to question Ms. Gorelick who designed the wall between FBI and CIA.
Without such barriers in exchanging intelligence between organisations responsible for national security this catastrophe could have been avoided.
Commission members stop covering up and protecting this culprit Gorelick.
History will come to this conclusion anyway, with or without your input.

Does anyone know if this statement constitutes a hate crime?

The Commission refused to call any of the firefighters & police officers from the ranks to testify. Their excuse was they were only having those "in authority" testify. If they were truly interested in coming up with constructive suggestions on how future 9/11's could be prevented, and how those agency's response could be improved, they should be meeting with the line personnel.

This commission, this pack of worthless, has-been nincompoops with their 20/20 hindsight are now defaming and belittling people who actually tried to DO something on 9/11, and they are doing it all so they can so grandstand before the cameras and revel in the applause of a partisan audience. How utterly disgusting.

How to be objective when a handful of terrorist-laden jetliners slam into your homeland with intent to kill. Not easy.

The first thing we need to learn, if we haven't already, is that when a jetliner slams into your skyscaper, get the hell out of there as soon as you can. Don't wait for Ted Kennedy or Jamie Gorelick to come to your rescue.

I cannnot believe the press paints these victims families into their reports as if ther reactions lend any validity to the task at hand. That is plain, asshat wrong.

But let us not fail to ask hard questions as to how this happened. One of my first reactions on that day was, "Damn. How did we let this happen."

NEVER AGAIN.

Next time this country faces a crisis like 9/11, let's just sent the 9/11 families and the 9/11 committee in to handle things. The rest of us, Dubya, Rumsfield, et al, and the police, firemen, paramedics, doctors, nurses will all sit by and wait for their instructions as to what to do next.

Oh, and p.s.

Of course, the 9/11 families and 9/11 inquisition squad will, of course, notify all of us beforehand to let us know exactly what will be coming down, at what time and on what date and in what city.

This charade is outrageous and I'm simply furious. I could never have imagined seeing such a national kangaroo court in this country. These politicians and these families make me sick. It's shameful.

Somehow, through it all, I've maintained my faith in the United States and her citizens. We are not alone.

Semper fidelis.

These are the same people who are always clapping during testimony when it is against President Bush or anyone in his administration.

Sally Regenhard, left, and Monica Gabrielle, whose son and husband, respectively, died in the World Trade Center attacks, attend a public hearing on the attacks before a joint House-Senate Intelligence Committees hearing in September 2002.

Bush's 9/11 coverup?
Family members of victims of the terror attacks say the White House has smothered every attempt to get to the bottom of the outrageous intelligence failures that took place on its watch.
