HITCH ON MICHAEL MOORE: "But speaking here in my capacity as a polished, sophisticated European as well, it seems to me the laugh here is on the polished, sophisticated Europeans. They think Americans are fat, vulgar, greedy, stupid, ambitious and ignorant and so on. And they've taken as their own, as their representative American, someone who actually embodies all of those qualities." - Christopher Hitchens on "Scarborough Country," last night.

I saw that. Penn, of Penn and Teller, was laughing his head off.

Penn, by the way, said he didn't know why Scarborough had asked him to be part of the panel, except that he hated Michael Moore.

I would love to have a dinner party with C. Hitchens, Laura Ingraham, Peggy Noonan and Ann Coulter at the dinner table.

William F. Buckley wouldn't be bad to have there as well, now a apply a little Gin to get them to tell us how they really feel !!!!

Any others to add to the table? Ben Stein, Dennesh Desouza, Ramish Ponnoru, perhaps, what a hoot.....

Kudos to Chistopher Hitchens for saying this and to Andrew Sullivan for writing about it. I heard Hitchens say this and almost fall out of my chair laughing. Hitchens is great.
