I'm wondering if maybe that Scottish skirt thing, sans the undies, with nice, tanned, hairy calfs and socks with a little balls on them didn't, for a moment, stun the enemy with sexual longings, until it was too late and the Scottie's were upon them. In WWI the Scots troops were called "the ladies from Hell."
