All FReepers and lurkers in good standing are invited to join the D.C. Chapter of Free Republic as we stand up for SecDef Rumsfeld with a counter-demonstration against anti-American leftists Friday evening in Northwest Washington, D.C.
The left has latched onto the recent Iraqi prison scandal with dreams of using it to help bring about our defeat in the war against terrorists. They'll be meeting at Dupont Circle at 6 p.m. and then march up Connecticut Avenue to Mr. Rumsfeld's home in the Kalorama neighborhood to protest him outside his house.
We'll be there in Kalorama to peacefully greet them with our own message of support for Mr. Rumsfeld and to verbally rumble with them like we did last week with great success.
When: Friday May 21 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. or later
Where: Freepmail me for the location as I do not want to post his home address.
Bring: Signs supporting SecDef Rumsfeld and American flags.
As always, the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no racism, no profanity, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.
P.S. Please mark your calendar to join us in D.C. on Saturday, June 5. CANSWER will be having an "antiwar" rally and march. The D.C. Chapter will be doing a counter-demonstration along their march route and possibly hold our own rally to support the troops.

I'm sure I don't understand what you're saying, Sir. I was only observing, as a very experienced mother, that Miss Coulter doesn't seem to have enough flesh on her to reproduce. Such impressive genes shouldn't be lost to posterity because of vanity.

Bring a chipper and some mannequins, so you can do your own "reenactments!"
What a brilliant idea! "This is what Saddam did to dissenters," as the mannequin is fed into the chipper feet first, maybe playing a tape of somebody screaming. And this would be so likely to get the attention of the press.
Unfortunately, we probably can't do this tomorrow, but for future reference, this is great. Do you know if most chippers could handle a mannequin? Any ideas on where to buy an old mannequin for these purposes?
