FReep mail going to the Warlord. I get off work around 4:30 in Arlington.
I cc'd you.
I thought I told you how to get a guaranteed kitchen pass...
JVB: "I'm going to a Freep tonight. Wanna go with me?"
Mrs. JVB: "NO!"
She gets to say "No" and you get to Freep.
Never mind that it doesn't advance the story because we already know what happened there. If The Post can inflame the situation and get more GIs killed so Bush gets humiliated they'll do it. Damn them.
Most of the time I think Dr. Michael Savage is over the top with his radio rants but there is an enemy within.
The Washington Post loves their "highly placed unamed sources."

You guys are the greatest. Looking forward to the after action reports.
Good luck this evening. Wish I could make it but kid duties take priority.

Thanks fer the heads-up...I'll see if I can make it!!
Good luck at Rummy's tonite...MUD
What Senate Staffer took it upon themselves to release the photos and videos?
Go forth and freep them like rented mules, sir. Eagles up and good hunting.
Prayers that the Armies of Heaven will be with you in this war.
The DC Chapter put the smackdown on the anti-war, terror-loving leftists tonight, across the street from Sec. Rumsfeld's beautiful Federal-style home. There were about a dozen FReepers. My memory is quite poor when it comes to names but the ones I can remember include StayTrue, Jimmy Valentine's Brother, Kristinn, TGSL Takoma, IsraelBoy(?), BillF and BufordP. There were plenty of signs to go around, as StayTrue made some real winners, supporting the troops and the SECDEF.
We arrived around 5:30 or so. The leftists were late. We stood across the street from the secretary's house, which put us in front of the French ambassador's residence, a soaring colonial, without central air. Anyway, the leftists managed to find their way to our side of the sidewalk. About 10 uniformed and plainclothes police and Fed agents stood in front of the secretary's house and watched as we shouted slogans at each other. The leftists seemed angry that we were there to spoil their chanting. There were about 30 of them. They recycled the usual chants that we all heard 40 years: "Hey, Rumsfeld! Whattya say? How many kids did you kill today?" Plus several other similar to it. We countered with "Give Rummy a raise!" We did start with our one of our favorite mock cries: "What do we want?" "I don't know." "When do we want it?" "Now!"
We were engaged by a few of the unwashed. One woman in a straw hat and fused front teeth went after TGSL and jawed with her for awhile. A couple of older ladies from the neighborhood came by to see what the noise was about. She sided with the leftists but she was happy to see us giving our side. She didn't care for our nonsensical taunts like go swim to Cuba.
I spoke with a couple of kids from the other side and they were quite civil. IsraelBoy and I had a pleasant conversation with them. BillF and some others took pictures with their digital cameras, so they should be posting those some time. I had a great time with my fellow FReepers and we all gave the terror sympathizers an earful. The leftists started breaking away a little after 7:30 and the police across the street finally ended the festivities at 8.
It was great to see you at the fabulous FReep tonight.
Great summary! I would add Leadpenny and L_von_Mises to the list of attendees.
I'm going to prepare a full after-action report as a separate thread and include photos and sound files if possible. It may take a couple days, depending on how other things play out.
Actually, it was a pleasant evening for a Freep. Naturally post Freep activities included Italian food.
RR it was great to see you out getting vitamin D and fresh air. Couldn't agree more with your tag line as you are EPIC!
