You need to talk to freeper Chad Fairbanks. He had a hilarious idea of reenacting Kerry's war exploits with toy soldiers etc. I think he is working on that very idea.

It would be almost too easy to duplicate, excuse me, exceed Moore's fantasy films using the resources of Freepers, and the power of the internet.

A nice html page with a montage of Kerry pix with a running commentary (factual, unlike Moore's fantasies) either as test or voice overs, would fit the bill nicely. Distribute via campaign outlets. Be sure to put "in the spirit of and with inspiration from Michael Moore" at the beginning.

Broadcast mail it to every news outlet etc. that you can get an address for. Email it to everyone you know!

If it is funny enough, it will spread like wildfire.

We need something like this to reingite the miltary and postmilitary controversies of Kerry's, his voting record, his recent desertion from the senate, his flip flopping etc., etc., etc. A bit on Kerry's actions on his swiftboat, and Kerry on his million dollar Scaramouche, running his boat aground on Cape Cod beaches terrorizing innocent Asian tourists in a bout of Vietnam flashbacks. Overlay his face on Gomer Pyle, USMC stills. The big decision would be to dribble them out, or arrange an October surprise deluge.

Remember, Moore stated that his films were comedy, and that comedy does not require accuracy.

I think we can do him one better with a funny yet factual series of short films, or even commercial format messages.

We cannot drop the ball on this. It will send the Dems into apoplexy, particularly if it is virtually indisputable.

This is a great idea. In fact, I'm going to call my bro in Minnesota who is a adventure film-maker and see if he and his wife want to participate. He's got the equipment...I just need to see if he has the time.

I like the idea. If you are trying to convince that soft middle of America that is neither to the right or the left politically, concentrate on Kerry's record on the issues that matter to them. The war is probably not as high on their list as it is on yours or mine.

Just in my little circle of suburban moms, econonics is at the top of the list. They want their comfortable lives to continue. Who will offer that kind of security to them? That's who they will vote for. Get into Kerry's record of taxing the rich and middle class to pay for social programs and you will win over this group.

"Then you get to the next problem: The Secret Service. Doing a "Roger and Me" pursuit movie with a presidential candidate is a non-starter. The USSS will not let you get in his face, or near him, to say the least."

So use a double.

Actually, my partner and I are currently developing an outline for the film that is sure to ruffle some feathers.

We are going to begin with a short historical piece on Benedict Arnold. The premise will be that no amount of heroism trumps seditious behavior.

I'm sure that most of you can connect dots A and B, so I won't bore you with excessive details... but we'll certainly be taking a hard look at the people John Kerry associated with after Vietnam and whose side they were really on.

Now, an interview with Ann Coulter, author of TREASON, would really help the movie ruffle some feathers! We'll see if she's willing...
