It is doubtful if Kerry self inflicted wounds on himself. But, and this is controversial and I don't want to offend anyone, it has been said that during Viet Nam the bar for awarding medals was lowered substantially as a sort of morale booster. What I have heard from family tales.

A complaint with the FEC might be in order. It is an hours-long campaign commercial, IMHO.

Ask Steven Seagal about bad publicity.

IS this going to be on TV before the election?

Moore's film is not going to change anyones mind. His films are hardly blockbusters. All the Bush hating partisan dems and assorted Naderites will flock to this film- thats it. He will make some good money off this film. But your average theater goer isn't going to just pop in to see a "ducumentary".
The big problem with Moore films is that Europeans eat them up as the unvarnished truth. I've argued with enough of them to see just how widespread his reach is...
I've even ran into Euros who've seen his films in school, and no, with no countervailing voices.
So, no the film probably won't have a major effect here...but it will continue to poison our relations with Europe...

What happened to Segal? Not a big fan of that guy- but I saw one of his action movies that was about fighting "big oil" and it had the most ridiculous enviromental left wing nonsense at the end that I actually laughed at it.

It doesn't matter... handing out flyers is regulated by the FEC if you spend enough.
This is not self-financed... it has multiple sources of funding. It calls for the defeat of a federal candidate for office. There is a good argument that it is regulable.

No one in Hollywood will touch the guy. He also has mafia hitmen looking for him.

I can't remember the name of that movie but I do recall suppressing the urge to laugh at it only because it wasn't supposed to be a comedy.

That reminds me of High School when I was forced to sit through a videotape of a PBS Bill Moyers produced and narrated program about the Iran/Contra scandal.

That could easily be applied to Rush or Savage. I think you are making abig deal out of nothing. Moore isn't worth it. Even in the Rich review today he doesn't exactely lay out respect for this guy.

LOL! I saw it with my brother and we were giggling like fools. All I can remember is that Michael Cain played the evil Oil Tycoon and it was supposed to be set in Alaska.

Didn't mean to say that he did. It was just an example of the kind of innuendo that the left uses on a continuing basis.

Actually, Lord effin of Ketchup is pretty good at shooting off his own foot, right after he puts it in his mouth.
Now, on the other hand, if you were to research all of the leftwind media bias we've seen posted on FR, and make a "documentary" about that...it might spark some more interest.
Lord Effin is NOTHING without his cheerleaders...the media; but their bias equates to a never-ending political commercial for Effin.
